Guidelines and protocols are important sources of information for medical specialists (in training) and medical students. By interpreting these sources in the right way, they provide the best care to their patients. Unfortunately, guidelines and protocols are often large, difficult to read documents, which can take a lot of time to find specific content. By interpreting the essence of these sources and modeling them in a user-friendly way, the “Anaesthesiology” app can relieve the caregiver. This benefits both the patient and the healthcare provider.
The “Anaesthesiology” app is aimed at healthcare providers within this specialty and contains concise information about resources, considerations and different interpretations of medical guidelines within this specialty. In addition to informative textual pages, images and flow charts, interactive tools based on converted flow charts and calculators are also available.

Tools displays several scoring tools. Here, for example, the ‘Perioperative fluid management’ tool can be used to calculate the fluid management in children.

With the various interactive flowcharts and calculators you can easily determine the policy in case of a suspected antibiotic allergy or calculate the equivalent dose of corticosteroid.
Notes
With the new note function it is possible to attach personal notes to every page of the application. This way you will never forget that adjusted dosage or specific precaution again.
